The majority of my day is spent educating high school students. However, there are many other titles besides teacher that define who I am. I’m a parent, a husband, a son, a brother, a learner, and a friend. I enjoy cooking, traveling, playing guitar, and spending time with my family. My passion for the ceramic arts began in 1990 when I started my Junior year at Pitzer College. There are few words that capture the joy I find from forming nature into a handheld vessel that captures a moment in time.
I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, went to college in southern California, traveled throughout Europe for a brief time and lived in Hawaii. The highlight of any day for me is making a connection with another human being.
